Power / Vibration
Vibrators are a staple of any sexual play, no matter where you fall on the vanilla <-> kink spectrum. You can use vibrators with a partner, of course, but when it comes to the WeVibe ‘Touch’, this was a solo experience. The Touch is a clit vibrator which means it is not designed for penetration. Here are some of the specs from the site: 8 speeds, low battery warning, quiet, rechargeable and WATERPROOF. Yes, you can take this little joy with you in the bath.
After I unboxed the toy the first thing I noticed was its rounded base – depending on how you hold things this can make it awkward to hold or easy. For me, it got a bit slippery after I got going and slipped out of my hand more than once. It has a nice soft feel, no hard and cold plastic for this little toy. However, for power this small thing lacks for nothing. I have a clit hood piercing, so too much power is a no-go for me. This toy was right on the cusp of too much, I certainly didn’t want to put it right on the piercing, but elsewhere it was quite nice. The great part is the little curve at the top that fits nicely on top of the clit. In this part, the design is spot on.
It’s controlled by a button on the bottom, which is easy enough to use – if your hands are not slick with lube or other moisture. You press the button to go through the vibration patterns and then off, or an extended push to turn it off right away. However, the real problem is the charger. If it charges correctly, you can get two or more uses from the Touch, but that is if it charges correctly and fully. After one or two charges, the Touch would not charge anymore for me – meaning I spent money on a toy that no longer works.
I am a fan of We-Vibe, and of the Touch – hopefully the charge issue is an anomaly and is not a problem with other Touch toys. I recommend WeVibe, and love the Touch, but I will be giving it a Recommend With Reservation, again due to the charging cord.
Until next time – keep Talking the Taboos.
